Strolling Thunder 2020
ZERO TO THREE is bringing babies and families to Capitol Hill! Join us for Strolling Thunder, an event to bring national attention to what babies – and families – need to thrive. During Strolling Thunder (May 5, 2020), ZERO TO THREE will bring a parent/guardian and a baby or toddler (under the age of 3) from every state and the District of Columbia to Washington, DC to talk with their Members of Congress about the experience of raising babies and the importance of the first three years of life. This year, we are looking for families who can speak to the importance of paid family or medical leave and/or quality, affordable child care.
No experience necessary! You’ll bring your baby, your stroller, and your story, and we will help with the rest. If you’d like to be considered to represent your state for Strolling Thunder, please tell us more about yourself below. Submissions are due by March 8, 2020. ZERO TO THREE will cover travel costs for you, your child(ren) under the age of three, and one travel companion. You must be available to travel to Washington, DC between May 3 – 6, 2020.
