Strolling Thunder 2021
Submit your interest form below!
It has been quite a year for babies and families. But the challenges so many have faced existed long before the pandemic. And if Congress doesn’t act, babies and families will continue to be left behind.
That’s why ZERO TO THREE is again holding Strolling ThunderTM, an event to bring national attention to what babies – and families – need to thrive. This year, ZERO TO THREE will host a virtual Strolling Thunder on May 18, 2021. We will connect a parent/guardian and a baby or toddler (under the age of 3) from every state and the District of Columbia with their Members of Congress for a virtual conversation about the experience of raising young children and what they need to support their baby’s healthy development.
No advocacy experience necessary! If you’d like to be considered to represent your state for Strolling Thunder, please tell us more about yourself below. Submissions are due by March 12, 2021. ZERO TO THREE will provide selected families with training and support for your meetings. All applicants must be available to participate in training and preparation as we lead up the event, as well as all activities on May 18, 2021.
