Congress, Take the Next Step:

Babies and Families Need Your Support in the COVID-19 Crisis

ZERO TO THREE, Think Babies partners, and our networks of advocates have been urging Congress to support access to paid family and medical leave and quality, affordable child care for all babies and their families for many years. We have long understood the impact these solutions would have on babies’ development, families’ economic security, and the strength of our country. The current COVID-19 pandemic has underscored just how important paid leave and child care are to families and the economy.

As our country faces an unprecedented crisis, we must remember the youngest in our society. Sound and equitable policies that center on care and well-being are critical components of our country’s foundation, both in times of crises and calm.

Below is a state-by-state look at the constituents who have signed our letter, calling on Members of Congress to make comprehensive paid family and medical leave and quality, affordable child care a reality for all working families.
