A baby’s beginning lays the foundation for all to come.

The story of America’s babies has never been more important. The foundation we provide for them shapes their future and the future of our communities. Unfortunately, many babies and families do not have the support they need to thrive. Families are the author of their baby’s story, and it’s time to help them write a new chapter in the life of our country’s 11 million infants and toddlers.

Babies and their families from every state and DC will come to Washington, DC on May 20, 2025 for Strolling Thunder, to share their stories and call on Congress to write a new chapter for America that prioritizes infants, toddlers and their families. 

Families want a country where their babies can thrive. Congress can be the champions babies need. It’s time to rewrite the story with policies that prioritize good health, strong families, and positive early learning experiences.
