Strolling Thunder: Request for Proposals

To mark the 10th anniversary of Strolling Thunder, ZERO TO THREE is bringing Strolling Thunder to a Member of Congress’s community. We are seeking one state or local organization to co-host a public-facing Strolling Thunder event in your community, focused on influencing a particular federal lawmaker or lawmakers and the federal policy conversation. 

The selected partner will receive a mini-grant of up to $50,000, along with planning, communications and logistics support from ZERO TO THREE.

Key Details

  • Eligible Applicants: nonprofit organizations, coalitions and fiscally sponsored projects working on early childhood, family well-being or related issues 
  • Application deadline: March 9, 2026 (end of day) 
  • Grant amount: Up to $50,000 
  • Event window: July–early September 2026 
  • Events may include: a stroller march or rally, a community festival, a baby-focused town hall or another high-visibility activation that centers families with infants and toddlers and strengthens relationships with federal policymakers.
